Abolish Abortion in Connecticut
Protect the Unborn. Join the Movement. Abolish Abortion.
Mission Statement
We, the members of the CFAA, affirm that we are Christian abolitionists, fully committed to the total and unequivocal abolition of abortion in the state of Connecticut. We are guided by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and recognize that abortion is the sin of child sacrifice (Psalm 139:13-16; Jeremiah 1:5), and we seek the legal abolition of abortion in all its forms to the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31).
While our primary goal is the legal abolition of abortion, we believe that lasting change ultimately comes through the conversion of hearts through the gospel (2 Corinthians 5:17). However, we are called to establish justice and defend the helpless regardless of societal response (Micah 6:8; Proverbs 31:8-9). As we covenant together, we declare that we represent Christ in all that we do, standing for justice and truth in a fallen world.

The Current Law in Connecticut
Connecticut is one of the most permissive states in the nation regarding abortion access, serving as a "safe harbor" for individuals seeking abortion services, regardless of their state of residence.
Key Facts About Abortion in Connecticut:
Legal Status: Abortion has been codified in state law since 1990, ensuring its legality even if federal protections change.
Access: A broad range of healthcare practitioners are authorized to perform abortions, and non-residents can receive abortion services in the state.
Taxpayer Funding: 75% of all abortions in Connecticut are funded through Husky, the state’s Medicaid program.
Chemical Abortions: Over 64% of abortions are performed using abortion pills, reflecting their increasing prevalence.
Protections for Providers: The state has enacted legal shields to protect healthcare providers who perform abortions, even for patients from restrictive states.
Connecticut’s laws make it a leading destination for abortion services in the United States, underscoring its commitment to broad access to reproductive healthcare.
Understanding the Impact:
Connecticut's policies directly affect thousands of lives annually, with significant taxpayer funding and growing reliance on chemical abortions. These realities demonstrate the urgent need for awareness and action.

"Every Abortion Clinic Should Have a Sign: 'Here by Permission of the Church.'" – Francis Schaeffer
The Church in Connecticut Stands Guilty of Apathy: Complacency Is Complicity in the Slaughter of the Innocent
While abortion persists as a legally protected industry in Connecticut, with over 10,000 lives lost annually, the Church largely remains silent. Francis Schaeffer’s haunting words echo a sobering truth: every abortion clinic exists by the Church's passive consent. The Church's failure to speak out, act, and demand justice for the preborn is complicity in the culture of death. Until the Church rises to confront this evil with boldness and repentance, the blood of the innocent cries out unanswered.
